Last night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet was … interesting. The fashion was lacking, but the outfits were entertaining nonetheless. Doechii (unsurprisingly) took the cake in Miu Miu with Lady Gaga following close behind in not one but two Mayhem-era looks by Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. The worst- and weirdest-dressed lists are much longer than usual — let’s just say JoJo Siwa wore a giant sequined headpiece. More on that and other tomfoolery, below, on our list of all the can’t-miss 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards red-carpet looks.

Gaga went back to her roots with the release of Mayhem, sonically but also in her aesthetic. The ruffled neckline gives this Alexander McQueen dress a campy, gothic quality that feels like a more sophisticated version of some of her earlier looks. I’m clapping! I’m cheering!

I want this little hat. No, I need this little hat.
Not her best, but it’s not bad, either. And it fits her like a glove.
What can I say, I love love! The coordinating leather looks cute.
It’s not the most exciting look in the world, but she does look chic and I like the gloves. So best-dressed it is! (The competition was weak.)

He flipped his way onto the worst-dressed list with this one.
The nude illusion is not nude illusioning (a personal pet peeve of mine), and the lace is competing with the sequins. You’re better than this, Glorilla!
She looks absolutely beautiful, but the outfit is painfully basic.
If I had to see this, so do you.
This may be the first time we’ve seen the combination of cow print and hot pink on a red carpet.
The tie is awkwardly short, especially paired with low-rise jeans.
