Rachel Zegler paid tribute to her Snow White “family” upon the film’s release, though she left out her costar Gal Gadot.
Celebrating the Disney remake’s release, Zegler, 23, shared posts on Instagram featuring a collection of photos from the set, highlighting the cast and crew that brought the movie musical to life. The posts did not make mention of Gadot, 39, or include a photo of the actress, who plays the Evil Queen opposite Zegler’s Snow White.
“This movie was a life-changing experience that has held about four years of my career,” Zegler wrote in a March 20 Instagram upload. “the growing up you do from the age of twenty (when i was cast) to twenty-three (the age i am now) cannot be accurately described, yet they exist here on film forever.”
Zegler, who had her big-screen breakout in 2021’s West Side Story and made her Broadway debut last year as Shakespeare’s Juliet, wrote that she “became a real adult” in her time making Snow White.
She wrote that she “learned hard lessons, did hard things, laughed, cried, turned 21, lived across the ocean from my family, made new friends, and completely fell in love with this group of people i got to work with for three magical summers in london.”
The star indicated that she’d be sharing more “photo dumps” to commemorate the project since this post “doesn’t even dig into the fun, the magic, and the love that was shared throughout this process.”

On Friday, March 21, Zegler shared another Instagram post that also made no mention of Gadot, this time individually showcasing a “little glimpse into this family i came to care for deeply.” She gave shout-outs to choreographers, camera operators, director Marc Webb, costars Dujonna Gift and Andrew Burnap, among others in the crew.
“it takes a village to bring stories like ‘snow white’ to the big screen and i loved this one so very much,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “catch them all in action both in front of and behind the camera, in theaters now.”
Another Instagram post from Zegler on Friday highlighted her publicists and stylists for supporting her on the global press tour for the film.

A source told PEOPLE March 14 that Zegler and Gadot have “nothing in common” and “on top of that, their political views differ, adding to the tension.” Another insider echoed that they “have a huge age gap and very different political views.”
Still, Gadot “enjoyed filming,” said that insider: “She was fine with Rachel, but they are not friends. … They did a job together and that’s it.”
Though Zegler and Gadot have been doing the recent promo tour separately, they presented together onstage at the Oscars on March 2, and they both attended the Los Angeles premiere of Snow White on March 15, posing together in group photos. Zegler was not in attendance for Gadot’s March 18 ceremony for the unveiling of her Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Snow White is in theaters now.
