Auburn and Florida clash Saturday in San Antonio for a spot in the national championship game. The No. 1 seeds out of the South and West met once in the regular season, with the Gators beating the Tigers 90-81 Feb. 8 at Auburn Arena.  Isaac Trotter and Chris Walker of CBS Sports analyzed key players and matchups and offered their predictions ahead of Saturday’s big game.

One of the main storylines entering the matchup is the health of Auburn’s Johni Broome. The star big man suffered a hyperextended elbow in the second half of the Elite Eight game against Michigan State but will play against Florida. Trotter and Walker discussed the implications of Broome not being 100% against Florida.

The matchup also pits mentor against protege. Florida coach Todd Golden spent three seasons as an assistant to Bruce Pearl at Auburn from 2014-15. Both rank among the top 10 coaches in college basketball entering the Final Four.
