Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, said wearing her mother’s dress to the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala was “as close as I can get to a hug from my mom.”

Dannielynn attended the Friday night party with her dad, Larry Birkhead, who met Smith at the same event more than 20 years ago.
Smith previously wore the dress ― a stunning, sleek black floor length gown embellished with rhinestone straps across the back ― to the Barnstable gala 21 years ago, Larry said in an Instagram post.
“Life full circle,” he wrote. “She said she chose the dress because it was her Mom’s and ‘super cool.'”
