While Easter isn’t a federal holiday, many businesses will be closed or operate at reduced hours Sunday. Some grocery store chains, banks and post offices won’t be open for the holiday. Which locations and services will be affected? Here’s what to know.

Is Whole Foods open on Easter?

Most Whole Foods stores will open at their regular time on Easter and will close early at 6 p.m. local time, with a few exceptions, the company told USA TODAY.

Is H-E-B open on Easter?

All H-E-B stores and services will be closed on Easter Sunday, according to the company’s website. Stores will operate on regular hours the day after Easter.

Are banks closed on Easter? Wells Fargo, Chase are not open

Since Easter falls on a Sunday, banks that typically close on Sundays will also be closed on Easter Sunday.

Most branches of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PNC, Truist, JP Morgan Chase, and Citibank will be closed on April 20. Customers are encouraged to contact their local branch to confirm specific hours.

Capital One told USA TODAY its branches and cafes will be operating at their normal scheduled hours on Easter. Customers can use the Capital One locator finder to find specific information for operating hours near them.

Is the post office open on Easter? Will mail be delivered?

United States Postal Service operations will proceed as normal on Sunday, April 20, the USPS confirmed in an emailed statement to USA TODAY.

Since USPS facilities are closed for retail transactions, and because residential and business mail deliveries do not occur on Sundays, mail will not be delivered. However, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year, including on Sundays.

Is UPS open on Easter? Will packages be delivered?

UPS pickup and delivery services will not be available on Easter. UPS Store locations may be closed, according to the company’s website.

Is FedEx open on Easter? Will packages be delivered?

Most of FedEx’s pickup and delivery services will not be available on Easter, according to the company’s website. FedEx Office hours will also be modified, so it is best to check with your local store for their specific hours.

FedEx Custom Critical, however, is available 24/7, according to the company.
