- Paredes gets time and space in the final third and goes for goal from an ambitious distance. He catches his shot very well and it requires a full-stretch save from Bento to prevent the ball from rattling the net.
- Close – Raphinha goes for goal from distance after Brazil gets a freekick. The execution is brilliant as the Brazilian comes inches from scoring with the ball hitting the crossbar.

- A low cross comes in from the left. The cross was meant for Mac Allister but he had overrun, leading to the ball being behind him. The ball rolls towards the far-post, where Simeone rushes in and lashes the ball from a tight angle. The ball hits the underside of te crossbar and rattles the net. It is Simeone’s first goal in Argentina colours, and no better team to get it against.

- Almada gets the ball and sees space ahead of him. He darts ahead but one of his touches is too heavy and he ends up giving the ball away.
- Otamendi fouls Endrick, and Brazil has a freekick in a decent position.
- Raphinha goes for a direct shot from the freekick. It would require something special to beat Martinez from that distance but Raphinha hits the wall and the ball ends up with the Argentina keeper.
- Enzo swings a good cross from the right and finds De Paul at the far-post. De Paul gets his head to the ball but cannot keep his effort on target, sending it out of play.
- Almada cuts in from the left, trying to make space for himself. He then attempt a curler but miscues his effort and the ball goes out of play.
- Argentina almost catches out Brazil with its freekick routine. De Paul passes it to Alvarez in the box instead of floating the ball in. Alvarez looks for a cutback, but his pass is intercepted and the ball goes out for a corner.
- Endrick tries to get to the ball after an over-the-top pass from midfield but the pass is a tad bit overhit, which allows Martinez to rush out and collect the ball.
- Ortiz tries to clear the ball with his head in the final third, but it is a poor one. Alvarez, putting pressure on Ortiz, tries to capitalise by dinking the ball over the top of Bento who was off his line. However, the Brazil keeper manages to get back in time and tip the ball over the net for an Argentina corner.
- By the looks of it, Argentina is not looking to sit back and protect its two-goal lead. Scaloni’s men are going for the press early in the second-half.

- Goals from Mac Allister, Enzo and Alvarez keep Argentina in a 3-1 lead as the second-half gets underway. Cunha, the lone scorer for Brazil.
- The match is living up to its name and is getting fiestier by the minute. Words are exchanged between Romero and Raphinha after the half-time whistle and there was a possibility of another tussle breaking out but the referee and the coaching staff of the teams intervene in time to prevent that.

- Tempers flaring up, and this was bound to happen sooner than later! Tagliafico commits a foul and Raphinha gets involved in a physical tussle. Soon the others get involved as the referee gets busy breaking up the fight.

- Argentina works out a short corner and patiently looks for an opening in the Brazil defence. Enzo gets the ball and spots that and sends a pinpoint floated ball into the box Mac Allister is the first to reach the ball and slot it past Bento with a first-time finish.
- Vinicius floats in a cross inside the box but Martinez anticipates the move and rushes off his line to collect the ball and end the Brazil attack.
- Vinicius goes one-on-one with Romero, and the latter stops the Brazilian in his tracks as he goes down. He looks for a foul but the referee waves play to continue.
- From being in a comfortable 2-0 lead, that careless defensive mistake has out Argentina under pressure at the moment. The momentum is with Brazil as Dorival Jr’s men look to push further up the pitch. Argentina is mainly on defensive duty at the moment.

- Brazil booking: Murillo sees the first booking of the night as the referee shows him a yellow card for a late challenge.
- 26’ GOOALL! BRAZIL PULLS ONE BACK AND CUNHA IS THE SCORER!
- Romero is completely to blame for this goal. He had all the time in the world to find a teammate but ended up keeping the ball for too long and allowed Cunha to rush in and snatch the ball from him. Cunha then makes his way inside the Argentina box and slots the ball inside the net with a good finish. That is a gift but Brazil will take it.
- Vinicius attempts a cross from the left flank but it is a weak one and the ball goes straight to Martinez who collects the ball without fuss.
- Almada has a chance to score as he gets the ball on the left side of the box. He shoots across the face of the goal but fails to hit the target.

- Argentina is dominating the ball as it enjoys 70 per cent of the ball compared to Brazil’s 30.
- Bento is down at the moment with an injury as he receives some medical treatment. It does not look serious though and the Al Nassr keeper should be okay to continue.
- What Brazil needs is a spell of possession because, at the moment, the Selecao are playing some chaotic football. Being two goals down in front of a hostile away crowd is definitely not helping.
