(WTVY) -At least 18 are dead and dozens injured in severe storms, with that number expected to rise.

The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency reports 11 deaths in that state with an unknown number of injuries.

At least three others died in Arkansas and the same number in Texas. 

By Saturday, emergency officials said another outbreak of tornadoes had sent at least three people to the hospital in Mississippi.

Forecasters expect the potent system to bring severe thunderstorms, high winds, hail, and tornadoes to Alabama and other states, with the storms arriving overnight.
