City midfielder Bernanrdo Silva says that he thinks “the motivation that this is the only hope of us winning something” pulled his side through.
“The team played a really good game, a really aggressive game – we are really happy today,” he adds.
On Nico O’Reilly, he says: “He was unbelievable. Against Plymouth he showed the impact he can have on the game and the energy he brought today changed the game. That’s what we need.”
On the match against Forest, he adds that “it’s another tough draw for us”.
“It’s the semi-finals and we will be playing at Wembley. We are very happy.”

With that result, the FA Cup semi-finals are set.
Nottingham Forest will face Manchester City, while Crystal Palace take on Aston Villa in the other match.
The ties will be played on 26 and 27 April at Wembley!
