President Trump has signaled that trade deals over tariffs with other countries could come as early as this week.

Federal Reserve officials will be convening in Washington, D.C. this week for their May FOMC meeting, starting this Tuesday and concluding on Wednesday, May 7, with the central bank’s latest decision on interest rates and a press conference with Chair Jerome Powell.
