Caitlin Clark Turns Heads With Outfit Before Iowa Return

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made it a point to get stronger this offseason after WNBA veterans attempted to bully her during her standout rookie season.

“That was my biggest focus in the offseason, just trying to get stronger and really working on that,” Clark said after Monday’s practice. “And really thankful to Sarah, our strength and conditioning coach, putting in a lot of time with me, and we were in here consistently. I think that was the biggest thing for myself, is just having that consistency, to be able to work on it for six months, or whatever it was. So I certainly feel a lot stronger.”

While she certainly got stronger this offseason, Clark still managed to suffer an injury that kept her out of the team’s preseason debut on May 3 – much to the chagrin of WNBA fans everywhere.

The injury announcement seemed like more of a precaution, allowing Clark some grace before her first true game of the season. She and the Fever are back on the court today, May 4, for an international friendly against Brazil back in Clark’s old stomping grounds in Iowa City.

Ahead of the game Clark was spotted in an all-gray outfit that caught the attention of social media.

“The fit is [fire emoji],” one fan said.

“She looks goooddddd,” said another.

“The people asking if she is playing need to stop. They held her out of yesterday’s game TO MAKE SURE SHE COULD PLAY TODAY IN CARVER. Freak injuries happen and how bad would it be if she played the 1 game they have before the Carver game and she gets hurt and can’t play in IC?” offered another, hoping to calm the fears of those wondering if she’ll miss another game.

Indiana faces off against Brazil at 4 p.m. ET with the game being broadcast on ESPN.
