- The man who got that goal, Alexander Sorloth, is on the pitch, so you never know…
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Atletico defenders backpedal furiously as Lamine Yamal sets off on another of his trademark runs towards the penalty area, but his attempted shot is blocked before rollling harmlessly into the arms of Juan Musso.

- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Spurred on by that disallowed goal Atletico continue to flood forward in search of a leveller.
- A reminder that if the tie ends level on aggregate after 90 minutes of normal time we would then head to extra time…And then the dreaded spot kicks.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Atletico think they’ve got a leveller but the flag is up on the far side.
- It was brilliant play from Alexander Sorloth, who broke past the Barcelona defence and smashed the ball across Wojciech Szczesny into the far corner.
- It won’t count though no matter how much he protests.

- FT: Cannes 1-2 Reims
- Fourth-tier side Cannes’ brilliant run in the Coupe de France has come to an end.

- They’ll face reigning champions Paris St-Germain on May 24.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Not the best first involvement for Nahuel Molina nor Eric Garcia.
- The Atletico man dives in on his fellow substitute to receive an instant yellow card and leave the Barcelona defender in a heap on the floor.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Changes for both sides as we approach the hour mark.
- For the hosts Nahuel Molina replaces Robin Le Normand, while Barcelona swap Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia for youngsters Pau Cubarsi and Fermin Lopez.
- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- All over and it’s all square at the end of the first leg of this Coppa Italia semi-final between AC Milan and city rivals Inter.
- Tammy Abraham’s fine turn and finish put “hosts” Milan in front early in the second half, but Hakan Calhanoglu’s low drive from 25 yards earned Inter a draw.
- They’ll play again to find a winner on 23 April, with Bologna or Empoli awaiting in the final.

- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- Into three minutes of stoppage time and the sting has gone out of this one a little bit in recent minutes.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- After Lamine Yamal ghosts past two more defenders Raphinha has the chance to shoot.
- He cuts inside in a bid to outwit Juan Musso but the keeper gets down to it at his near post.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- More dazzling dribbling from Lamine Yamal but his teammates can’t match it and the opening is lost.
- It’s crazy to think that he is still just 17 years of age.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- That should have been 1-1!
- Alexander Sorloth is suddenly one on one with Wojciech Szczesny but he smashes his shot into the sidenetting.
- A huge chance wasted.
- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- Almost a lovely goal from AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, who curls an effort just wide of the far post from about 18 yards.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Diego Simeone is on the edge of his technical area urging the crowd to make more noise and they respond fervently.
- He’s like a conductor waving at a slightly chaotic orchestra.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Alexander Sorloth’s first meaningful contribution almost prompts the equaliser.
- He latches on to a ball over the top before squaring it to Antoine Griezmann in the box but the Frenchman is denied by Wojciech Szczesny.
- The offside flag was up in the end anyway but that’s already much better from the hosts.
- FT: Stuttgart 3-1 RB Leipzig
- So, it’ll be Stuttgart that take on third-division side Arminia Bielefeld in the DFB Pokal final on 24 May.
- They made relatively easy work of the semi-final, taking an early lead against RB Leipzig and never looking back.
- Stuttgart will no doubt be favourites for the final, however, given the level of opposition that Arminia Bielefeld have beaten so far it won’t be straightforward.
- They have already beaten four top-flight sides this season in the tournament, most recently the reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Confirmation that Diego Simeone turned to his bench at the interval to make a triple change.
- Alexander Sorloth is on up top, Javi Galan in midfield and Clement Lenglet at the back as Reinildo, Giuliano Simeone and Cezar Azpilicueta all made way.
- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- It’s not like Inter have been completely dominant in this game, but if AC Milan emerge from this first leg level or ahead, they will have their goalkeeper and captain Mike Maignan to thank.
- He’s just produced another fine stop from close range to deny Nicola Zalewski.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Back under way in the Spanish capital.
- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- AC Milan have sent on Santi Gimenez and Chelsea loanee Joao Felix from the bench for the final 15 minutes of the first leg.
- Tammy Abraham, Milan’s goalscorer, and Christian Pulisic are the players replaced.
- HT: Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- It was total domination from Barcelona in the first half, as they were superior in all the key metrics, including the one that matters: goals.

- AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
- A reminder that Inter failed to win any of their first three meetings with AC Milan this season.
- Will they do it in number four?
Hakan Calhanoglu (66 mins)
- All square!
- Hakan Calhanoglu drills a low shot past Mike Maignan from 25 yards, against his former club, to bring Inter level midway through the second half.
- The two goals scored in this first leg have been very high quality indeed.
- Stuttgart 3-1 RB Leipzig
- The tie could be over in Germany.
- They’re now 3-1 up through Jamie Leweling, and with just over 10 minutes left to play it’s a tough ask for RB Leipzig.
- The winner faces Arminia Bielefeld on 24 May.
Page 3
- Cannes 1-2 Reims
- That didn’t last long.
- Fourth-tier side Cannes are level for just six minutes before Teddy Teuma puts Reims back ahead.
- There’s 25 minutes left, can they find another equaliser?
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- No time for any more action as the referee calls the half to an end much to the displeasure of the home fans.
- Ferran Torres’ strike has Barcelona one step closer to the final.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- The free kick comes into the box but an infringement is spotted in the middle and the attack is brought to a swift end.
- Atletico look to spring Giuliano Simeone away on the counter but he is hauled down just beyond the halfway line by Pau Cubarsi.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Another yellow card as Julian Alvarez is penalised for pulling the shirt of Lamine Yamal as he looked to run infield.
- Barcelona have one last chance to pump the ball into the box.
- AC Milan 1-0 Inter Milan
- Inter have made a triple substitution as they bid to find a way back into this Coppa Italia semi-final first leg.
- Henrikh Mkhitaryan, once of Manchester United and Arsenal, is one of the players brought on.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Antoine Griezmann tries to be clever by taking a free kick quickly but Jules Kounde reads it well and ushers the ball back to Wojciech Szczesny before Julian Alvarez can reach it.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- This first half has gone by in a flash.
- We’re only a couple of minutes away from the break now with Barcelona being good value for their one goal lead on the night.
- It’s not been so easy a watch for the home fans, although you wouldn’t know it with the noise they continue to make with a loud drum behind Juan Musso’s goal.
- AC Milan 1-0 Inter Milan
- It’s been a hectic start to the second half, which began in fine style for AC Milan courtesy of that Tammy Abraham strike to open the scoring.
- Still a long way to go in the tie – this is only the first leg, with the second leg to follow in about three weeks’ time in the same stadium.
- Stuttgart 2-1 RB Leipzig
- On the hour mark Stuttgart doubled their lead through Nick Woltemade, and looked set to be facing Arminia Bielefeld in the DFB Pokal final.
- However, it’s taken RB Leipzig just two minutes to respond through Benjamin Sesko, and we’re back to just one goal separating the sides.
- There’s 25 minutes left to play, is the comeback on?
- Cannes 1-1 Reims
- Fourth-tier side Cannes have equalised against their Ligue 1 opposition!
- Cheikh N’Doye has pulled the underdogs back level in the 52nd minute of play.
- What a story if they’re to go on and meet PSG in the final!
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Barcelona are creating chance after chance as the Atletico defence look uncharacteristically wide open.
- It’s Raphinha who darts down the outside this time, shooting low at the near post only to be denied by a smart stop from Juan Musso.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Julian Alvarez tracks back well to win the ball in his own half and then looks to set Antoine Griezmann into space on the left.
- He overhits the ball though and the chance to break is lost. Story of Atletico’s night so far really.
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- Well it was a predictably tense and at times ill-tempered Istanbul derby, with both teams finishing the game without a full compliment of players.
- Both managers got in on the act too as Jose Mourinho appeared to grab the nose of Okan Buruk in a scuffle on the pitch at full time.
- In the end Victor Osimhen’s double proved enough to send Galatasaray into the final four of the Turkish Cup.
- They will play Konyaspor on 22 April for a place in the final.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Atletico are getting a foothold in this now, albeit they’ve yet to properly trouble Wojciech Szczesny’s goal.
- Frenkie de Jong is late on Rodrigo de Paul in midfield and he is the first visiting player to receive a yellow card.
- It’s sure had plenty of bit this opening half an hour.
Tammy Abraham (47 mins)
- And it’s a superb start to the second half for AC Milan!
- The ball breaks inside the box to the feet of Tammy Abraham, who lets the ball run across his body and fires across the goalkeeper into the bottom corner.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Back under way in the second half at the San Siro.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Reinildo is the third Atletico player in the book for a cynical shirt pull on Lamine Yamal. He’s being run ragged by the teenager.
- The resulting free kick doesn’t come to anything though.
- Atletico Madrid 0-1 Barcelona (agg: 4-5)
- Lamine Yamal dances around several Atletico players before unselfishly laying the ball off to Pedri.
- Seeing his route to goal blocked the midfielder tries to back heel a pass to Raphinha for a tap in but Juan Musso recovers in time to block it away.
Ferran Torres (27 mins)
- Barcelona take the lead!
- Lamine Yamal slides an inch-perfect ball in behind for Ferran Torres and he cooly slots his finish past the on-rushing Juan Musso to open the scoring.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Barcelona are playing some wonderful stuff now with Pedri at the heart of it all.
- He exchanges several one-twos with Fermin Lopez to slice through the Atletico midfield but Robin Le Normand steps in to thump it clear once again for the hosts.

Page 4
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- Alvaro Morata has the chance to send Galatasaray into the last four but he is denied by a sprawling save from Irfan Egribayat.
- Fenerbahce go up the other end and almost level but Milan Skriniar can’t hit the target.
- Was that their last chance?
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Back to Madrid and this semi final continues to hurtle along at a rapid pace.
- Barcelona are dominating the ball and are just starting to find gaps in the Atletico low block.
- Pedri slides a reverse ball into Ferran Torres but the ball gets caught under the winger’s feet and Atletico scramble it away.
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- With tempers fraying as time ticks away Fenerbahce are down to ten men as Mert Hakan Yandas is sent off for violent conduct.
- Galatasaray are down to nine with Baris Alper Yilmaz and Kerem Demirbay also seeing red for their part in the scuffle.
- The hosts have 11 (yes ELEVEN) minutes of additional time to try to force this into extra time.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Inter are really pressing now as the interval approaches.
- Davide Frattesi’s header from 10 yards is pushed away by AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who has had an excellent first half for the “home” side.
- From the next phase of play, Alessandro Bastoni volleys wide.
- And that’s half-time.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Raphinha is on the deck again after an ankle high challenge from Rodrigo de Paul.
- He’s clearly being targeted by the hosts and it’s no surprise with 27 goals and 20 assist to his name already this season.
- De Paul is the next name to go into the book.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Pedri launches another unbelievable crossfield ball for Raphinha to chase but Reinildo is on hand to cut it out for the visitors.
- Barcelona press high and win it back immediately, but Lamine Yamal can’t find the far bottom corner with a curling effort.

- Hakan Calhanoglu sends a swerving free-kick towards the Milan goal and Maignan tips it over.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)

- Diego Simeone doesn’t escape punishment though. He goes into the book for giving the fourth official an earful.
Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Hold on.
- The referee has been sent to the pitchside monitor to look at that Cesar Azpilicueta challenge himself.
- Could the hosts be reduced to ten men?
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Still goalless in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg in Italy.
- Inter have had more of the ball but it’s AC Milan that have come closest in the past few moments, Josep Martinez racing quickly off his line to get to a Milan through pass that was aimed towards Tammy Abraham.
- Seven minutes to go in the first half.
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- Former Newcastle man Allan Saint-Maximin and former Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko have made their impact known for the home side since coming on.
- Fenerbahce have just five minutes plus stoppage time to take the tie into extra time.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Cesar Azpilicueta receives a very early yellow card for a late challenge on Barcelona skipper Raphinha.
- There’s concern for the Brazilian as he sits on the turf and calls the medics on for some treatment.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- These sides have picked up where they left off in the first leg five weeks ago, with the game starting at a frantic pace.
- Giuliano Simeone is inches away from giving the hosts the lead after a free-flowing passing move down the right.
- Stuttgart 1-0 RB Leipzig
- It’s half-time in Germany, and an early goal from Angelo Stiller is all that separates the two sides so far.
- There’s no second leg in the DFB Pokal semi-finals, so as things stand Stuttgart are 45 minutes away from a final against third-tier side Arminia Bielefeld.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Pedri curves a wonderful ball in behind for Lamine Yamal to chase and he almost carves out the opener.
- He shrugs off Reinildo to get into the box but his cut back is cut out at the last and Juan Musso gathers gratefully.
- Atletico Madrid 0-0 Barcelona (agg: 4-4)
- Barcelona in their luminous green third kit get this semi final second leg started.
- Atletico Madrid v Barcelona (20:30 BST)

- Here’s hoping we see plenty more this evening.
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- Things are starting to get a bit tense and feisty between the two teams as the clock ticks into the final 15 minutes.

- His opposite number Okan Buruk has just received a yellow card for his protestations.

- Barcelona have gone from strength to strength in all competitions since the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi finals.
- In the month since they’ve won six games in a row, scoring 19 goals and conceding just four.
- They blew Benfica away to reach the last eight of the Champions League and have amassed a nine point lead over bitter rivals Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
- Having already won the Spanish Super Cup against Los Blancos in January, Hansi Flick’s side remain in the hunt for a Quadruple come the end of the campaign.
- Cannes 0-1 Reims
- Over in France, top-flight side Reims have taken the lead against their fourth-tier opponents after 14 minutes through 19-year-old Ibrahim Hafiz Umar.
- There’s still plenty of time to go, but what was already a difficult task for Cannes has just got a lot harder.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Tammy Abraham denies Inter’s Stefan de Vrij an opening goal – the Dutch defender almost had an empty net to nod into from a free-kick, but English striker Abraham is on hand to head it behind to safety.
- Inter have had the better of the chances in the opening 20 minutes.

- It’s been a tough few weeks for Diego Simeone and his Atletico Madrid players since they pulled off that late fightback against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi final first leg.
- They were dumped out of the Champions League on penalties by neighbours Real Madrid and have fallen into third in the title race, nine points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
- The Copa del Rey is now their only realistic chance at securing silverware this season.
- Atletico Madrid v Barcelona (20:30 BST)
- Not long to go now in the Spanish capital as Atletico Madrid and Barcelona prepare to go head to head for a place in the Copa del Rey final.
- With over five weeks having passed since the first leg thriller let’s take a look at how each side has fared in the interim…
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- With the scoreline so tight you’d think this derby game would be cagey. In actual fact, it’s been anything but. Both sides are going all out to get that crucial next goal.
- Galatasaray went close through Gabriel Sara minutes ago, but he was denied by a sweeping save from Irfan Egribayat.
- Fenerbahce then broke immediately but miscommunication between Talisca and Youssef En-Nesyri gave Galatasaray a chance to clear.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Inter almost strike first!
- A corner from the left causes problems, it’s not quite cleared and Joaquin Correa fires a stinging low shot from the edge of the box which Mike Maignan keeps out.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- Both sides have had spells of territory in the opening five minutes but no real goalmouth action to speak of.
- AC Milan 0-0 Inter Milan
- AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham rolls the ball back to a team-mate and we’re under way in the Milan derby.
- Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- The ball is back rolling in Istanbul.
- Can Fenerbahce pull off an historic comeback or will it be Galatasaray marching into the Turkish Cup last four?

- AC Milan v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)
- The two teams are on their way out of the tunnel and onto the field.
- Of course, these two clubs both play their home fixtures at the San Siro. AC Milan are this evening’s designated home team.
- The second leg of this tie will take place on Tuesday, 23 April, with the winner facing either Bologna or Empoli in the final in May.
- Bologna will take a 3-0 lead into the home leg of their semi-final on Wednesday, 24 April.
- Stuttgart 1-0 RB Leipzig
- We have a goal already!
- It’s taken Stuttgart just five minutes to open the scoring in Germany through Angelo Stiller. That’s the midfielder’s first goal in the competition this season.
- AC Milan v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

- Inter may be leading the way in Serie A but it’s AC Milan who have had the better of the three fixtures between the clubs so far this season.
- Matteo Gabbia headed a late winner for Milan in the first league meeting in September and they were on course to complete a league double in February, but Stefan de Vrij scored a stoppage-time equaliser to earn Inter a 1-1 draw.
- The sides also met in the Italian Super Cup final in January. Milan came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in Riyadh, with ex-Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham netting the winning goal in stoppage time.
- Stuttgart 0-0 RB Leipzig
- Under way in Germany.

- Fabio Paratici is in talks with AC Milan over becoming their new sporting director, in a move that would end his ties with Tottenham.
- The Italian administrator, who left his role as Spurs’ managing director of football in April 2023 after being banned by world governing body Fifa – following an investigation into financial irregularities during his time at Juventus – is free to return to work in the summer when his suspension ends.
- Sources close to Paratici have told BBC Sport the 52-year-old is in contact with AC Milan over becoming their new sporting director.
- Despite leaving his role at Tottenham, Paratici has continued to have a presence at the Premier League club.
- He is a consultant for the club and has been a regular at Tottenham’s home games, while recent reports have stated the north London club were looking to rehire him.
- However, Paratici – if talks with the San Siro club end successfully – will cut ties with Tottenham as he focuses on his new role.
- Cannes v Reims (20:00 BST)
- We nearly saw a major upset in France just 24 hours ago when Paris St-Germain fell two goals behind to Ligue 2 side Dunkerque.
- The champions did manage to pull back in the second half to win 4-2, however, we have another chance to witness a Coupe de France upset tonight.
- Fourth-tier side Cannes take on Ligue 1 club Reims in the semi-final, and if Cannes can achieve the unthinkable they will become just the second fourth-tier side in French history to make the Coupe de France final.
- They are yet to face a top-flight side in the competition this season, however, they will have confidence looking at Reims’ form.
- Before the weekend, Reims had not picked up three points in the league since November – but they did get back to winning ways against Marseille with a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
- Cannes on the other hand have lost their past two games, but before that enjoyed an unbeaten run of 19 games.
- HT: Fenerbahce 1-2 Galatasaray
- Galatasaray have held a comfortable two goal lead for the majority of the first half but just before the interval the hosts got back in it courtesy of Sebastian Szymanski.
- The Poland international was in the right place at the right time to tap home at the back post and give Jose Mourinho’s side a lifeline.

- I went to the Milan derby in 2017. Nice game. Milan came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with a 97th minute equaliser. Great atmosphere. Didn’t feel threatening. Felt like members of the same family could be supporting different teams – bit like me, my Dad’s a blue but I grew up supporting the next Premier League champions. I know he must be so disappointed.
- Stuttgart v RB Leipzig (19:45 BST)
- After last night’s giant-killing from third division side Arminia Bielefeld, we now turn to the second semi-final between Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.
- The two sides last met in January with Stuttgart claiming a 2-1 win despite falling behind after 10 minutes.
- The game wasn’t without controversy, with RB Leipzig’s Lois Openda and goalscorer Benjamin Sesko both sent off towards the end of the game.
- RB Leipzig do sit above their opponents in the league table in sixth, however, they have won just one of their past six Bundesliga games.
- Stuttgart currently sit 11th and are also struggling for league form having failed to win any of their past six games.
