LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Preliminary surveys show that an EF2 tornado rated as an EF2 was confirmed at Almyra as well as an EF3 tornado at Lake City.
Tornado damage is surveyed by a list of Damage Indicators (DI) and Degrees of Damage (DoD), according to the National Weather Service.
In Lake City, winds of 160 MPH were registered as the tornado stayed active.
As severe storms and tornadoes made its way to the Natural State on April 2, various town were impacted, including Dewitt which lost power as a result.
