Shedeur Sanders went 143 picks before he heard his name called by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
His brother Shilo never got to hear his name called at all.
However, Shilo, a defensive back from Colorado, with the help of his newly enlisted agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Jason Bailey, signed a rookie free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bucs general manager Jason Licht said on local radio he spoke with Shilo extensively through the pre-draft process. He was very familiar with him and liked him both as a player and as a person.
“We’ve talked about (Sanders) quite a bit in the process,” Licht said, via ProFootballTalk.
Licht also revealed that dad Deion called head coach Todd Bowles shortly after terms were agreed to. Coach Prime, the Hall of Famer and patriarch of the football family, shared a nice, warm message with Bowles.
“Coach Prime called him Saturday night and thanked him for giving (his son) a fair shot,” Licht said.
Bowles said Shilo “was a heck of a tackler” and that he will be given an opportunity in the defensive backfield and on special teams.

“He’s a heck of a tackler and he knows the game very well; he can see the game very well,” Bowles said on SiriusXM on Monday. “So giving him a chance to play, we think he has a shot to help us from a safety standpoint and from a special teams standpoint. So I’m excited to get him in here and see how he moves.
“I saw him tackle all year. I saw him make plays. He’s a very smart player and he understands the game very well. So we thought it was worth a shot to see what he can do. And I think he’ll show himself well.”
