Stellantis, owner of Jeep and Ram, plans to extend its employee-discount program to the broader public on most new models, the latest move by carmakers to stoke sales following the Trump administration’s tariffs on the automotive sector.

The program is effective Friday and covers the company’s most popular models, including the Jeep Wrangler SUV and Ram light-duty pickup trucks, according to a memo seen by The Wall Street Journal. Customers could choose to use other promotions already available in April instead, the memo said.

The company was scheduled to brief U.S. dealers about the effort Friday morning. A Stellantis spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
