Exclusive | Jordon Hudson’s behavior in awkward Bill Belichick interview ‘so on brand’ — as high school classmate dishes on ‘controlling’ nature

PROVINCETOWN, Massachusetts — Bill Belichick’s lithe young girlfriend Jordon Hudson was attention-seeking in high school, a former classmate says — with some from her Cape Cod home calling the former cheerleader’s antics around the New England Patriots football legend “so on brand.”

“That is exactly how she is,” said a classmate from 24-year-old Hudson’s high school. “We are so unsurprised by this. None of us are shocked. We think it is hilarious.”

“Everyone who knows her is so unsurprised by this. This is totally something she would do,” the local said.

Hudson, who graduated from Nauset Regional High School in 2019 while growing up in Provincetown, even dated an older guy — though only about one or two years her senior, not quite the 49-year age gap separating her and Belichick.

But her behavior back then apparently mirrored what’s been publicly unfolding in her relationship with Belichick, the source claimed.

“She would get mad at him for something stupid and berate him and control him about something or get mad at him over random things,” the classmate said. “It was very tumultuous. Everyone knew their business. It was very dramatic.”

Hudson — who already was making headlines for her May-December romance — went meteoric this week after she was filmed sitting in the wings a Belichick interview with CBS Sunday Mornings, and halting the conversation when it turned to their relationship.

That was reportedly just one of numerous interruptions she made during the sit down, according to NBC Sports, while interviewer Tony Dokoupil called Hudson “a constant presence.”

Days later, numerous reports emerged showing Hudson, whose father was a fisherman and whose mother manages a Provincetown sex-toy shop, bought about $8 million worth of Boston-area and Cape Cod real estate in 2023 — all within 18 months of meeting Belichick.

And in March, Axios reported that Belichick had Hudson be CC’ed on all his external affairs emails at UNC — where he is now head coach — while the Athletic reported that her email signature read “Chief Operating Officer of Belichick Productions.”

“Everyone who knows Jordon is not shocked by this information at all. And even the way she acted in that interview,” the classmate said. “That was so her.”

“That’s exactly how she acted in high school, stomping around. She was very controlling of when [Hudson and her high school boyfriend] were dating. The controlling tendencies are still there.”

But not everybody had such harsh words for the twenty-something.

“She was a very nice, generous person in high school. From what I remember, she was very kind and always smiling,” another high school classmate said, adding that she and Belichick “seem like they are in a happy relationship.”

“I would see her in the halls and she was always very nice to me, nice to everyone that I know. We would exchange conversations in passing and she was really cool and nice,” he said. “Nobody from high school is saying anything negative about her,”

Another said “good for her” and laughed when asked about the relationship with Belichick.

“They seem like they are in a happy relationship and it seems great for both of them,” he said. “She didn’t have a bad reputation or anything in school from what I knew.”

After high school she went on to cheer at nearby Bridgewater State University, and compete in Maine beauty pageants.

She and Belichick met in February 2021 during a flight from Boston to Florida, though it remains unclear when their relationship began.

At the time the Belichick was dating his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, whom he broke up with in September 2023 when she was 60 years old.

Belichick defended Hudson’s behavior during the CBS interview, claiming in statement Wednesday that he had “clearly communicated” to his publicist that any interviews to discuss his new book, “The Art of Winning,” could only cover the book.

“Unfortunately, the expectation was not honored during the interview,” he said in a statement. “[Jordon] was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track.

“Some of the clips make it appear as though were were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021,” he added.

But CBS News insisted otherwise.

“There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation,” a spokesperson for the outlet said. “This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”

Reached in Provincetown, Hudson’s mother politely declined to comment on her daughter.

But one local construction worker who used to cut Belichick’s lawn was more than willing to weigh in.

“It’s weird as hell,” said 40-year-old Matt Tourville.

“She’s attractive but I think he got suckered,” he said. “I’m sure Bill is enjoying it. He never cared what others thought.”
