Final Injury Report For New York Knicks-Detroit Pistons Game 3

The New York Knicks are on the road on Thursday night as they face off against the Detroit Pistons in Game 3 of their first round series.

New York jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the series after their fourth quarter comeback in Game 1 in which they went on an incredible 21-0 run.

Game 2 did not go New York’s way as Detroit was able to tie up the series at a game apiece with a 100-94 victory.

The series now shifts to Detroit and Game 3 is a crucial one for both sides, especially the Knicks with them being on the road.

For New York, they will enter Thursday’s game with a fully healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report.

This is great news for the Knicks as they try to regain control of the series on the road after losing Game 2.

Of course, New York will need some of their key players to step up in Game 3 on Thursday, especially Karl-Anthony Towns who went scoreless in the second half of Game 2 and did not attempt a field goal in the fourth quarter.

On the other side, the Pistons enter Game 3 with an almost fully healthy roster but they have listed two players on their injury report.

Detroit has ruled out Jaden Ivey for Thursday’s game as he continues to recover from a broken leg, though the Pistons have mentioned that he could return later in the playoffs if they are able to make a deep run.

The Pistons have also listed Isaiah Stewart as questionable for Thursday’s game due to a right knee injury.

Stewart suffered the injury in Game 1 of the series and he sat out of Game 2. He is now in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If Stewart is sidelined once again, expect Paul Reed to continue to fill in for him as the backup center.

Fans can catch Thursday’s Game 3 matchup between the Knicks and Pistons at 7:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
