Conditions stay dry and sunny this morning, and temperatures will even reach the mid 70s in Portland by the afternoon. But an offshore storm will move into the coast closer to 2pm, and we could see it in the valley shortly afterward. This could bring thunder, hail, and strong winds throughout the state of Oregon through this evening. Due to the storm activity, the FOX 12 Weather team has declared it to be a First Alert Weather Day.

Tomorrow and Friday, off-and-on showers continue, and high temperatures drop back to the upper 50s. Saturday will be mostly dry with a chance for some drizzle, but showers return Sunday afternoon.
