When Stefon Diggs was with the Houston Texans last season, there were plenty of rumors that he was dating Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B, but it was hard to nail anything down with the two.
The couple seemed to make it official Monday night, showing up to Madison Square Garden holding hands as they walked into the building for Game 4 of the New York Knicks-Boston Celtics playoff series.
The floor seats for the Knicks’ 121-113 win that put New York up 3-1 in the series were star-studded. The Diggs-Cardi B rumors started in October when Diggs was in his lone season with the Texans. Things were understandably complicated because Cardi B had just filed for divorce from rapper Offset in July and gave birth to their third child in September.
The Texans acquired Diggs and fifth- and sixth-round picks from the Buffalo Bills last offseason for a second-rounder. After trading for him, the Texans and Diggs agreed to void the final three years of his $104 million contract, essentially having him play on a one-year, $22.5 million deal.
The 31-year-old had 47 catches for 496 yards and four total touchdowns in eight games before tearing his ACL in October.
In March, Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the New England Patriots.

Diggs has been making the rounds this offseason. After appearing on the sidelines for the Texans’ wild-card playoff win over the Los Angeles Chargers, he was overseas for Paris Fashion Week in January. He was back in the States for New York Fashion Week in February and then in Italy for Milan Fashion Week in March. He also was at the Met Gala last week.
