Kanye West aired his grievances in another series of tweets, calling out the rapper Playboy Carti for leaving West off his new album, Music.
The drama began when Carti mentioned Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand in the new song “Fine S—.” Kardashian, 44, expressed her admiration for the track in a Monday, March 17, Instagram Story, sharing a screenshot of the lyric in question: “I bought that ho a lot of clothes, but she love her Skims.”
In response, Carti reposted Kardashian’s Story with the comment, “@kimkardashian TELL MY NIECE NORTH SEND ME A SONG.”
That comment seems to be what set off West, who called out Carti in a series of posts shared via X on Tuesday, March 18.
“I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI,” he began. “HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER I DONT [GIVE] A F— ABOUT NONE OF THIS INDUSTRY S— AND HOW ITS A SKIMS LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I DONT GIVE A F— WHAT NO COMMENTS THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS.”
Kanye West had some choice words to share amid his conflict with ex-wife Kim Kardashian over his new song featuring their daughter North West and Sean “Diddy” Combs. “THE MAN MAKES THE FINAL DECISION,” West, 47, tweeted on Monday, March 17, seemingly in reaction to Kardashian, 44, attempting to stop the release of his new […]
West also referenced Carti’s son, Onyx, 4, whom he shares with ex Iggy Azalea, imitating what he would sound like if he asked Carti’s permission to put the little boy on a track.
“HEY IGGG AZALEA I NEED TO GET ONYX VOCALS ON MY SONG,” West wrote. “THATS MY NEPHEW OH AND IMA RAP ABOUT ONE OF YOUR BUSINESSES THE F—?”

He mocked Carti in another tweet, writing, “HEY NORTH YOUR DAD GAVE ME MY BIGGEST SONG AND CO SIGN AND I LEFT HIM OFF OF MY ALBUM BECAUSE OF HIS TWEETS OH BUT NORTH YOU MY NIECE I GOTTA USE YOUR VOCALS.”
West also claimed he wouldn’t have said anything about being left off Music if Carti hadn’t publicly mentioned North, 11. (West and Kardashian also share Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.)
Kanye West is back online and apparently angry at the “Kardashian mob” for his co-parenting relationship with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. In the span of six minutes, West, 47, unloaded several posts via X about Kardashian, her family, Hulu and the co-parents’ alleged custody agreement. The rapper also made antisemitic comments. “Yes I have beef with […]
“I HELD MY TONGUE ABOUT [NOT] BEING ON CARTI ALBUM,” West continued. “HIM GOING TO MY EX TO ASK MY DAUGHTER TO BE ON A SONG 2 DAYS LATER WAS TOO FAR NOBODY FINNA PLAY WITH ME.”
Earlier this week, West teased a song with Sean “Diddy” Combs featuring North and claimed that Kardashian had tried to stop him from releasing it. He shared since-deleted screenshots of text messages allegedly sent by Kardashian, who supposedly told him he couldn’t release the song because North’s name is trademarked.
“I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18, it goes to her. So stop,” Kardashian allegedly wrote. “I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her.”
Kim Kardashian has had plenty to say about her ex-husband, Kanye West, since the couple divorced in 2022. Kardashian and West married in 2014 and share four kids — daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, as well as sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5. Coparenting means that Kardashian and West still see a lot of […]
One month before West’s social media posts, multiple sources told Us Weekly that Kardashian is “considering” filing for “full custody” of their kids.
“She is in a very tough position when she really has to coparent with him,” one insider shared. “Right now he is very distracted and she does not want to say anything bad about him, but the safety of her kids is what is [motivating this consideration].”
