CLEVELAND (WJW) – Look up! Saturday night, at about dusk, April’s full Moon will peak.
The ‘Pink Moon,’ as it’s called, will officially be full at 8:20 p.m. According to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, this full Moon is also considered a “micromoon” and will appear smaller and dimmer than an average full Moon because it’s at the farthest point from Earth.
“The Pink Moon is named after pink phlox flowers that creep in during Spring according to the Farmer’s Almanac,” shared NASA in a post to Facebook.
