March Madness scores, results, bracket: Cooper Flagg, Duke top Arizona; Texas Tech rallies past Arkansas in Sweet 16 OT thriller

  • Tech came back from 16 down to win in overtime, advancing to the Elite Eight, where it will face No. 1 Florida on Saturday.
  • Darrion Williams’ layup with 7 seconds left sealed the overtime win! Arkansas couldn’t answer on the other end in a chaotic final sequence.
  • They nearly blew a 19-point lead in the second half, but Cooper Flagg and Duke are headed to the Elite Eight. They’ll take on Alabama, which put up 113 points on BYU earlier tonight, on Saturday.
  • Cooper Flagg dropped 30 points for Duke, which made him just the third Blue Devils freshman to do so in a tournament game. Caleb Love led Arizona with 35 points.
  • Arkansas leads 72-69 with under 30 seconds left.
  • It’s TTU’s ball, so they’ll have a real shot here.
  • Carter Bryant just drilled a clutch 3-pointer for ‘Zona, and Duke’s lead is just five points now with 1:52 left. After a 19-point lead earlier in the second half, we’ve suddenly got a game.
  • Texas Tech has clawed back to within 3 points at 69-65 with 1:55 to play. This suddenly got interesting!
  • An 11-2 run has helped TTU close the gap to 63-56 with a little more than 6 minutes to play.
  • Can the Red Raiders come back?
  • Ngongba got away with one here, but he just fouled out with about six minutes to go. Maluach is coming back in for Duke, but he has four fouls too.
  • Duke’s lead is just nine.
  • Henri Veesaar just threw down a ridiculous one-handed dunk off a lob from Bradley for Arizona. Duke still holds a double-digit lead, however, and the Wildcats can’t seem to break through.
  • Caleb Love has scored the last 15 points for Arizona, and we’re back to a 10-point game now with about eight minutes left in the second half. Love is up to 31 points on the night.
  • Duke just missed its first shot of the second half, and we’re almost eight minutes in. All but one of the Blue Devils’ made buckets have come from inside the restricted zone, too.
  • We are back for the second half of the West region clash between the Hogs and the Red Raiders. Can Texas Tech mount a comeback?
