The first two rounds of the women’s NCAA tournament are in the books. Now, it’s time to head to Spokane and Birmingham.
The field for the Sweet 16 is officially set, and all four No. 1 seeds have made it out of the first weekend. USC may be in trouble, however, after star JuJu Watkins sustained a torn ACL in her right knee in its win over Mississippi State on Monday night. The Trojans will take on Kansas State on Saturday.
All four No. 2 seeds also made it out of the first two rounds, which sets up a rivalry game between Duke and North Carolina in the Sweet 16. Paige Bueckers also led UConn into the Sweet 16 for a 31st straight time after matching her career high in what was her final home game on Monday night.
Here’s everything you need to follow the Sweet 16 next weekend.
