Jessica Aber, the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was found dead at her Alexandria, Virginia, home on March 22. Aber, 43, had served as a federal prosecutor under President Joe Biden’s administration and resigned after Donald Trump returned to the White House. Known for her work on financial fraud and public corruption cases, Aber was described as an “irreplaceable human being” by her colleagues, including current U.S. Attorney Erik S. Siebert.
