Yella Beezy was taken into custody in Texas on Thursday and is currently being held in a Dallas County jail. Bond has not been set in the case.
Beezy, whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway, is accused of hiring Kewon Dontrell White to kill Noble. According to court documents, Conway “intentionally and knowingly” caused the death of Noble on November 11, 2020 after he was gunned down in the middle of I-35 in Dallas. Police say White shot Noble in the back several times as he tried to flee the scene.
Beezy made at least one trip to Colorado to visit Sanders and the Buffaloes players last year. He led the Buff walk before the Utah game on Nov. 16, escorting players into the locker room. Sanders has been a longtime supporter of the rapper going back to his days before Jackson State.
