The Cincinnati Reds saw their offense sputter in the season opening series against the San Francisco Giants, scoring just 10 runs across a trio of games while dropping a pair of those. They’ll look to reverse their fortunes against the Texas Rangers, who come to town on Monday to open a three-game series of their own.

The Rangers are fresh off taking three of four against the Boston Red Sox to begin the year, with each of their wins of the hard-fought variety.

The series will feature a pair of future Hall of Fame managers in Terry Francona and Bruce Bochy, the duo combining for six World Series titles and over 4,000 combined wins. Unsurprisingly, the two rank first and second in career victories among active managers.

It will also feature the Reds debut for pitcher Brady Singer, who was acquired from the Kansas City Royals this winter in the deal that sent 2B Jonathan India the other way.
