It may not take Cooper Kupp very long to pick his next team after being cut by the Los Angeles Rams. Despite the Rams’ failed attempts to trade him, he has plenty of suitors now that he’s a free agent.
According to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports, Kupp “has interest from at least five teams” and he’s expected to sign somewhere “sooner rather than later.” Schultz notes that it’s unclear whether Kupp will take any visits before picking a team, but he’s not expected to make this a “long, drawn-out process and prefers to make a decision quickly.”
Kupp was just released by the Rams on Wednesday after eight seasons with the team, making him a free agent for the first time in his career.
Kupp, 31, believes he’s still an “ascending” player despite his numbers saying otherwise, and with his complete skill set as a pass-catcher and blocker, it’s no surprise that teams are interested in signing him – especially now that he doesn’t have a hefty contract attached.
Teams that could be interested are the Jaguars, Patriots, Raiders and Broncos.
