The Pittsburgh Steelers are waiting on a response from Aaron Rodgers but brought home a familiar face, signing quarterback Mason Rudolph to a two-year deal on the second day of free agency.
Rudolph saved the Steelers’ 2023 season, winning his final three starts, but joined the Titans in free agency for the 2024 NFL season.
The Steelers reportedly reached out to Rudolph about a possible reunion after Pittsburgh lost Justin Fields in free agency (Jets) and could potentially see Russell Wilson sign with Cleveland or the New York Giants. The Steelers are awaiting a decision from Aaron Rodgers, who has interest from Pittsburgh and the Minnesota Vikings, among other teams.
Rudolph, 29, was selected by the Steelers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Last season with Tennessee, Rudolph went 1-4 as the Titans’ starter, throwing nine touchdowns and nine interceptions.
