Welcome to spring 

Scattered showers are ending but expect additional scattered showers to redevelop late this afternoon and evening.

Snow showers are expected in the mountains with elevations over 3000 ft seeing a range from 1/2 an inch up to around 2 to 3 inches.

Temperatures will remain steady in the low 50s before cooler 40s arrive later this afternoon and evening. High elevations can expect temperatures to drop into the 30s.

Lows tonight dip below freezing with mid to upper 20s in the region. 

Weekend outlook 

The weather looks more seasonal on Friday and into the weekend. A warm-up is expected this weekend with some sunshine and 60s. Clouds and a few showers are possible on Sunday. The best time for rain and some storms may hold off until early Monday morning.
