Michigan State won its first regular season title since 2020 this season, and Izzo earned Coach of the Year honors for his efforts. The Spartans haven’t won the NCAA Tournament since 2000, and were runners up in 2009. Michigan, meanwhile, hasn’t won a title since 1989 (its only national championship). Other Big Ten teams expected to make it in include newcomers Oregon and UCLA and the impressive Maryland, Illinois, Purdue, and Wisconsin. Indiana and Ohio State are both bubble teams.
