March Madness is finally here, with 68 teams finding out their placement in the 2025 men’s NCAA Tournament on Sunday.
While a number of teams have locked up spots in the 68-team field as either conference champions or with impressive at-large seasons, a few bubble teams will sweat it out as they as they anxiously await to hear their name called bracket is revealed.
The SEC, perhaps the best conference in college basketball this season, is expected to be well represented in the NCAA Tournament, with up to 13 teams in contention for a bid. Auburn, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee all even have shots at being a No. 1 seed in the bracket and are squarely considered no worse than being 2 seeds.

Selection Sunday falls on Sunday, March 16 in 2025. Five men’s and four women’s conference championship games will be played throughout the day, finalizing the automatic qualifier portion of their respective fields.
