The 2-seed Michigan State Spartans defeated the 6-seed Ole Miss Rebels, 73-70, Friday in an NCAA tournament Sweet 16 matchup to advance to the Elite Eight.

Michigan State will play either Michigan or Auburn at a time to be announed (either 2 or 4:40 p.m.) Sunday, March 30 in the Elite Eight.

The game will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The winner will advance to the Final Four on April 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

This will be the 15th time the Spartans have played in the Elite Eight. Their last appearance was in 2019 where they defeated 1-seeded Duke, but ultimately lost to Texas Tech in the Final Four.
