WrestleMania 41 is taking place this weekend with two separate nights of action, on Sat. Apr. 19 and Sun. Apr. 20, 2025. The show will air live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. It begins at 4:00 pm ET with the Countdown show leading right on into the main course at 7 pm ET on Peacock in the U.S., Netflix everywhere else, or your local cable pay-per-view provider.
Luckily for you Cagesiders, our staff of learned wrestling blowhards is here to help figure out just how the event is going to play out with predictions for each match on the card.
Let’s get to it.
WrestleMania 41 predictions
Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
Geno Mrosko: If the idea is to work into Reigns vs. Punk while they can still get some life out of a singles match, I would think this is a pretty good bridge to it. Perhaps, then, a surprise winner is in order, especially if it means a booking surprise to go with it. The fan theories about Rollins selling out to Rock have been fun but it seems more likely Heyman will repay the favor in some way and throw everything out of whack. Pick: Seth Rollins
Sean Rueter: Seems simple enough to me. Two of these dudes are in their feelings about stuff that happened more than a decade ago. The third doesn’t have nearly that much interpersonal history with his opponents, and seems to have pretty much moved on from any resentment that was behind “make Roman look strong”. So that third guy picks up a win when the other two are busy sorting out their s…tuff. Pick: CM Punk
Kyle Decker: The one thing I’m confident in here is who is not winning — and that’s Seth Frickin’ Rollins. In fact, I’d be pretty confident putting money on him eating a pin. Who pins him is more up in the air. I’m guessing CM Punk. But either way, this will lead into a longer Punk/Reigns feud. Pick: CM Punk
Claire Elizabeth: Seth’s “Punk is only here for the money and Roman is only here for himself and only I can save the future of pro wrestling” line is a load of week-old bologna— It’s a triple threat and it has title implications, it ain’t a battle for the heart and soul of pro wrestling, pal. He can’t believe it, and if he can’t believe it, he can’t win. Reigns has seemed off-kilter ever since getting the band back together failed to actually get the band back together, and he’s lost his Wiseman to the Second City Saint. And so, we come to my man, the Best in the World, CM Punk. He’s fought for this main event for his entire career and he’s not losing here. Pick: CM Punk
Cain A. Knight: The person who is challenging for the WWE championship after WrestleMania should win this match. I could see WWE going forward with a title feud of John Cena vs. CM Punk, or revisiting Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns, depending on who the champ is after ‘Mania. The safest bet to win might be Reigns considering he rarely loses in WWE, but what if his part-time contract means it’s time to go away again for a while after this show? Pick: CM Punk
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: If you pay close attention to a wrestler’s promo, you can often spot clues about what’s next for their character. This week, I wrote two pieces analyzing Roman Reigns’ recent addresses to fans. In both, his character showed signs of bitterness and a growing sense of solitude. I speculated that Reigns’ words hinted at either a storyline shift or a change behind the scenes. Now that we have a clearer sense of his retirement timeline, it appears to be the latter. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Tribal Chief hung up his Ula Fala as early as next year. That said, I believe his “Wise Man,” Paul Heyman, will align with Seth Rollins—pushing Reigns into another long exile. And when he returns? He’ll settle the score with his greatest rival before riding off into the sunset. Pick: Seth Rollins
World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Jey Uso
Geno Mrosko: There’s just no way they go through the build they did, with the push they’ve given Jey, just to have GUNTHER retain the title. Triple H has shown he’ll do so before if he thinks there is more story to tell but I can’t see what else they could get out of not doing it here. You kill him dead if you don’t give him his crowning moment here. Pick: Jey Uso
Sean Rueter: It’s gotta be the YEET Man. Is Gunther’s fate to have long title runs broken by overdue babyfaces at ‘Mania? Methinks Der Ring General wins the belt back in short order. I had thought he’d move on to (Cody) Cody Rhodes after this and maybe get a run with the Undisputed, but I don’t know if QB1 is leaving Vegas with WWE’s top prize. We’ll talk more about that tomorrow. Point is, Gunther’ll be a two-time World Heavyweight champ soon, but tonight it’s gotta be… Pick: Jey Uso
Kyle Decker: Feels like it would be booking malpractice to have Jey Uso lose to GUNTHER yet again. After the Rumble win, Main Event needs to pick up the win and enjoy it with the crowd. I wouldn’t book a long run afterwards, but he should win tonight. Pick: Jey Uso
Claire Elizabeth: If Jey loses here it’s game over, y’all. He’s struggled bad enough with confidence this far, and it’ll be what, 0-4? That’s a pit you can’t climb out of, might as well slink back to Big Jim and go after the tag titles again. Nah, he’s got everything to gain and even more to lose, and GUNTHER seems rattled, plus the Grandest Stage of Them All hasn’t been the Ring General’s luckiest night. Pick: Jey Uso
Cain A. Knight: I think it’s clear that Jey Uso absolutely needs to win this match. Pick: Jey Uso
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: This feels like a lose-lose situation for WWE. If Jey Uso comes up short, his momentum—and character credibility—could take a major hit. Meanwhile, Gunther has dialed up his performances in recent weeks, delivering some of his best character work yet. Pulling the title off him now feels like a mistake. Thus, we could see a SummerSlam ‘93 finish, with Jey winning the match but not the title. If that happens, as I suspect it will, I just hope WWE refrains from throwing “Main Event” Jey an in-ring parade. Pick: Jey Uso by DQ
Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Geno Mrosko: We’ve seen this story play out a few times before, and I’m probably crazy for this, but I think Stratton turned the tide in her favor by refusing to back down in those later promos between the two. She had to establish herself, even as champion, and she did so. Pick: Tiffany Stratton
Sean Rueter: The important thing for Stratton is she bounced back from a couple bad segments — and kudos to The Queen for doing the same. She’s never been one of my favorites, but I do recognize the skills. But we expect one of the BOATs to be able to recover (we’ve seen her do it before). Who knew if Tiffy could get back on time? Maybe Flair had broken her watch altogether? That recovery is gonna serve Tiffany well going forward. But I doubt it impressed the office enough to have her beat the 14-time champ on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Sorry, make that 15. Pick: Charlotte Flair
Kyle Decker: There’s no way I’m betting against Charlotte Flair facing an young talent. I wouldn’t have done that before and they’re leaning into it as her character now. Pick: Charlotte Flair
Claire Elizabeth: Yeah yeah yeah Charlotte losing big matches is a bad bet, I agree. Many a time I’ve picked her by default for just that reason. She seems flustered this time around though, and not just from the terrible segment to end terrible segments. Almost like she’s going through the motions. Will it matter? Maybe, maybe not, and on the flipside Tiffany has all the awkward anxiety of a young talent who hasn’t learned to hide her fear of losing a big match against an intimidating opponent yet. I’m half-tempted to call for a screwball finish but eh, let’s just own it. Pick: Tiffany Stratton
Cain A. Knight: I don’t think Tiffany Stratton is a very good babyface, and she has indicated multiple times that it’s totally fine if she loses her belt to The Queen. Pick: Charlotte Flair
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: Earlier, I referred to promos as a window into the future. After winning the 2025 Royal Rumble, Charlotte was confronted by Rhea Ripley. Ripley noted that when Flair beat her at WrestleMania 36, Ripley was, in her words, “just a kid.” That seems to be Flair’s M.O., targeting the inexperienced. That’s exactly what we have here. Keep a box of Kleenex nearby, readers, because history is set to repeat itself. Pick: Charlotte Flair (WOOO!)
United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
Geno Mrosko: Still nothing but love for LA Knight and I’m generally entertained every time he’s on my TV screen but Fatu is undeniable. Pick: Jacob Fatu
Sean Rueter: The Bloodline 2.0 break-up could be used to start Fatu’s next program, and protect LA in LV. But they can also wait for that, so his new belt can be another reason he and Solo Sikoa split. And why on earth wouldn’t WWE want to showcase the Samoan Werewolf’s ascent up the card with a title win at the Showcase of the Immortals? Pick: Jacob Fatu
Kyle Decker: I just hope it’s not a squash for my man the Megastar. Pick: Jacob Fatu
Claire Elizabeth: Honestly you could show me footage of Jacob Fatu getting shot and popping right back up and I’d believe it, he’s that unstoppable. Pick: “Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu
Cain A. Knight: It feels like Jacob Fatu is already above this title and doesn’t need to hold it. Maybe Solo Sikoa screws things up and causes a disqualification finish that everyone groans about. Pick: Jacob Fatu
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: The only way Jacob Fatu doesn’t win is if Solo Sikoa gets in his way. Barring some botched help, the rise of the next Tribal Chief begins now. Pick: Jacob Fatu
World Tag Team Championship: War Raiders (c) vs. The New Day
Geno Mrosko: There hasn’t been much to the War Raiders latest run, and The New Day are as interesting as they have been in a long while. It’s time to really run with that. Pick: The New Day
Sean Rueter: It’s really hard to get me to care a whole lot about WWE tag belts, but Kof & X have historically been able to do it. This version of them should too. Pick: The New Day
Kyle Decker: Gotta crown the heel New Day here. They took a bit too long after the very successful turn using Big E. But beating two guys who had injuries similar to their old mate will help heat them back up real quick. Pick: The New Day
Claire Elizabeth: It’s hard to imagine a world where New Day lose here and don’t fade into irrelevancy or (even worse) break up, and I don’t want to imagine either of those worlds, so I’m going with the one where one of the best tag teams in the world carries on a legendary career. Pick: The New Day
Cain A. Knight: I think they missed the ideal timing on the New Day and should have put the belts on them shortly after they turned on Big E. Regardless, it’s still a good time to run with them and see what they can do on top of the tag division. Pick: The New Day
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: The War Raiders may be on their last voyage as a new dawn sets, at least for now for The New Day. Pick: The New Day
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
Geno Mrosko: Naomi has been great, and she’s also been the only one telling the damn truth around here, but I can’t see them giving her the victory. Pick: Jade Cargill
Sean Rueter: Giving her an edge was exactly what the ex-Glowster needed, and Naomi has done more with her latest character than all but her biggest advocates expected. Unlike what I wrote for the Women’s title match above, in this case Naomi’s recent performances should convince the guy with the pencil to put her over at ‘Mania. The most important thing for Cargill is that she have a good showing between the bells. Her character is infinitely more interesting with a loss her than vice versa. Pick: Naomi
Kyle Decker: #NaomiWasRight, but she ain’t winning. Pick: Jade Cargill
Claire Elizabeth: Can I just take a moment to say how great Naomi’s caution tape theme to all her gear and promo outfits has been? Because it is SO great. I can’t pull yellow eyeshadow off but it makes me want to take another crack at it. Anyway I’m putting her over like that ‘cause I can’t pretend she’s going over in the match. Pick: Jade Cargill
Cain A. Knight: Standard booking suggests babyface Jade should win at WrestleMania after Naomi injured her last year, unless the plan is to run this match back a few more times in the coming months. Pick: Jade Cargill
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: This is going to be a test for Jade Cargill in more ways than one. I’d like to see how she handles adversity coming away with a loss at the biggest show of the year against Naomi, who is doing her best work yet. Pick: Naomi
Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano
Geno Mrosko: I’m genuinely shocked this match is even on the card, and it feels like it will ultimately end up being a way to celebrate a legend. Pick: Rey Mysterio
Sean Rueter: Whoever the guy with actual Mexican heritage ends up being in this match, I’m picking him.
Kyle Decker: Seems like Rey Mysterio has one PLE match a year at WrestleMania because he’s still a fan favorite and the crowd likes to cheer his victories. And there’s no way Chad Gable mocking lucha libre should change that formula. Pick: Rey Mysterio
Claire Elizabeth: Well now I’m in the awkward situation of writing this prediction after SmackDown, where Rey Mysterio dipped out of his trios match against American Made partway through hurt and being attended to, but before the severity of his injury and whether or not he’ll be able to compete has been made known. So either Americano gets a one-legged Rey, or he gets a late replacement who hasn’t trained to fight him, so I hate betting on anything America in 2025, but I gotta go with the new guy here. Pick: El Grande Americano
Cain A. Knight: Can you imagine in 20 years from now if the kayfabe record book says one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time lost at WrestleMania to some jabroni named El Grande Americano? Well, Fandango did beat Chris Jericho at ‘Mania in 2013, so I guess you never know. Pick: Rey Mysterio
Marcus Benjamin:
M. G0MEZ: Rey Mysterio looked to have suffered an injury last night on SmackDown, putting this match in jeopardy. But according to WWE this morning on X, the match is still on. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised to see WWE turn to Rey Fénix at the last minute. Thus, I’m hedging my bet. Pick: Rey (Mysterio or Fénix)
That’s how we see the card playing out.
